About The Procedure

This form is designed to give information needed to make an informed choice of whether or not to undergo a permanent cosmetics application. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Although permanent cosmetic tattooing is affective in most cases, no guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit from the procedure.

This is the process of inserting pigment into the dermal layer of the skin and is a form of tattooing. All instruments that enter the skin or come in contact with body fluids are sealed and sterilized before use and disposed of after use. Cross contamination guidelines are stickily adhered to. Generally, the results are excellent. However, a perfect result is not a realistic expectation. It is usual to expect a touch-up after the healing is completed.

Initially the color will appear much more vibrant or darker compared to the end result. Usually within 60 days the color will fade 10-50%, soften and look more natural. The pigment is permanent but will fade somewhat over time and will likely need to be touched-up through the years.

During the consultation, available techniques of permanent cosmetics application were visually shown and explained along with the details of their possibility results. Information, especially, the expectation of the healing process and the results of each technique was clarified. From all the information discussed in the consultation, technician would have recommended the client to choose the technique, color and shape for their decision.

THE PROCEDURE - requires at least 2 visits

First visit: Consultation is held. Then, the technician performs eyebrows mapping to decide with the client on the client's shape and color for desired eyebrows/lips/eyeliners. Next, permanent cosmetics application is performed on the client's eyebrows/lips/eyeliners. After the procedure, the client is guide to follow the aftercare instruction (online) and given aftercare package to take care of the pigmented area. During the healing process, it is expected that the pigmented area darkens, forms scabs then peels to show a soft color and natural eyebrows/lips/eyeliners.. By principle, the first application is deliberately made to be light and sparse to make room for adjustment in the second visit. Note: It's not guarantee client will get their 100% result for the 1st procedure. Client will not get their desire result if they don't come back for touchup.

Second visit/touch-up visit: After 30 days to 60 days of the first visit, client comes back for a necessary touch-up procedure. During this procedure, the client may request adjustments to eye- brows/lips/eyeliners color and/or shape due to the healing process or change of preference. Notice that any adjustment due to change of preference may not be completely fulfilled since the decision made in the first visit and the nature of permanent makeup.
