PERMANENT MAKEUP TECHNICIAN

Job Descriptions:

Esthetician
Estheticians are the experts when it comes to skincare. They provide consultation and services that enhance a client’s facial beauty. They also improve the appearance and feel of their face features and skin. An esthetician uses their training to advise their clients on proper skincare.
Waxing Technician
Waxing Technicians specialize in addressing their clients’ hair removal needs. They offer a variety of services, treatments, and techniques to help their clients’ skin feel smooth and rejuvenated. Waxing technicians are responsible for providing their clients with a comfortable experience while taking into consideration the most suitable procedure depending on the area being serviced, the type of skin a client has, and the client’s preferences.
COVID-19 Considerations:
Aesthetics Health is operating with both our associate and guests’ health in mind. All our associates have access to ALL PPE recommendations including shields, masks, gloves, and disinfecting products. All customers are required to wear a mask and follow Covid -19 safety guidelines.

Qualification/Requirements:

• Virginia Master Esthetician or Waxing License. Must be current and up to date. (Required)

• 1 - 3 years experience in customer service

• Experience in waxing brows, lips, legs, arms, bikini, Brazilian, etc. as well as advanced skincare treatments

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work with diverse clients

• Ability to educate and give consultation to clients

• Professional and well-groomed appearance

• Positive, enthusiastic, personable attitude, and passionate about skincare

• Deep and thorough understanding of skin, skincare, and products

• Consistently delivers remarkable customer service

• Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills

• Must be able to commute to the spa w/out difficulty

• Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work flexible days and hours.

• Sales experience is preferred

• Willingness to learn new techniques

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the treatment area.

• Perform proper infection control by following sanitation and disinfection guidelines.

• Conduct skincare consultations and recommend treatments accordingly.

• Relieve stress for clients through facials.

• Perform advanced esthetic treatments such as chemical peels and microdermabrasion.

• Listen and educate clients according to their concerns.

• Offer clients the best recommendations based on an individual case basis.

• Refer clients to appropriate medical professionals when necessary.

• Create ongoing treatment plans with clientele to help ensure long term results.

• Take accurate, detailed, and effective notes. (SOAP format)

• Remain up to date on any continuing education appropriate to state licensure.

• Help management and staff maintain a clean and Covid-19 safe environment; including keeping proper hygiene, wearing the appropriate face coverings, remaining up to date and in compliance with Covid-19 CDC health guidelines, some laundry, and ensuring both treatment rooms and teamwork cleaning tasks are performed effectively.

• Work as a team to create a positive and stress-free environment for both clients and staff.

• Coordinate with management on creating enjoyable experiences for clients.

• Accurately represent the company via uniform, positive attitude.

• Participate in opportunities and promotional activities to build your clientele.

PERMANENT MAKEUP TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Permanent Makeup Technician
A permanent makeup technician is a licensed specialist who applies permanent cosmetic products onto a client’s skin to enhance their natural beauty or mask imperfections. They are highly trained in a variety of services, techniques, and procedures such as eyebrow blading, pigmentations, and cosmetic tattooing. Furthermore, they educate their clients on the best pre/post care treatments.
